DJ Nippa
Nippa has been DJing since 1995, his musical talent and showman antics led him to a rocketship rise to the top, with his very first gig being at the Ministry of Sound, no less than two months after he decided to be a DJ.

Next came the famous Penge Parties renowned for their gorgeous crowd. When a Time Out reporter stumbled across a Penge Party he described it as “The Best party of ‘95”. As former resident DJ and Co-promoter of Penge, Nippa acquired cult status and a loyal following.

Returning to the Ministry for the Saturday nights Rulin’, the over packed ‘Bar’ received the full show. So energetic and entertaining was his music that the other empty Main Room had to be closed early (The first time in the history of the club!), and Nippa was asked to play for an extra two hours. Later at the Ministry’s Friday promotion Frisky the same happened. Nippa’s room (the Bar) was rammed, the Main Room empty. The Main Room was once again shut early and Nippa was asked to play an extra two hours again. History had been made, and was to repeat itself on several occasions.

With the word spreading fast Nippa became the main resident for the Pussycat Club at the Zap in Brighton in April 1995. He was given this most prestigious role, without the promoter even having heard him play! The Zap regulars used to journey north to London to hear Nippa play, and once The Zap heard of this mass exodus, they offered him the job. The Pussycat Club became the most talked about Saturday night in Brighton.

One of Nippa’s other promotions was OUTRAGEOUS, a fully themed happening with the wildest of entrances and the craziest of creations. At his ‘Combat Gear & Camouflage’ party, escorted by a squadron of troops, and with the sound of twenty-five air bombs exploding overhead, Nippa arrived at the Ministry on a 35ft Howitzer Tank. An event to be seen to be believed. Definitely the biggest club entrance London has ever seen. Since then he’s also galloped in on horseback, and hovered in a UFO space car. Voted as the ‘Top 20 nights you must go to in ‘99’ by Mixmag (No.1 in London for UK & US House), Club of the Month in Ministry Magazine, and constantly Pick of the Week & Top House Night by Time Out Magazine, whenever there is a party on.

Nippa started a new monthly Friday residency at the Ministry, in March 2000 called ‘BLAG!’. Based on the best residents of the Nation. Playing alongside Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Paul Van Dyk, Brandon Block and Alex P to a packed club every time. Here he played his harder edged sound, with the main ingredient being energy.

Nippa has been producing since 1999, and already achieved national recognition for his work, remixing Dive - ‘Boogie’. Reaching No.3 in Record Mirror Chart, No.6 in Update Buzz Chart and No.35 in the Nationals. He’s also worked on some very naughty bootlegs, which have been aired by Judge Jules on Radio One.

After a number of hilarious appearances on KISS FM’s - Alex P and Brandon Block show, Nippa was asked to play two live mixs across the world on the Ministry’s new Digital Radio Show. Playing his funky energetic and uplifting sound, incorporating his trademark accapella mash-ups.

Nippa now owns his own label ‘Outrageous Records’ releasing under the names Nippa & I-Ching, SQ-L8R and Hedlinerz the harder electro trance sound is being championed by Judge Jules. Plus on the funky house side of things his releases ‘Ba da Du Ah’ and ‘Rockin Guitar’.

There is no stopping this versatile world-class performance DJ, who has made so many dance floors happy. Nippa can deliver the goods wherever he plays. With a large number of very successful residencies, International guest spots and Tour Dates up and down the country. Nippa will delight any crowd with his uplifting energy and showman antics!

DJ Trigger
TRIGGER

Trigger has become a well known face on the Brighton scene after several years spent both behind the decks and out on the dance floor partying. He honed his skills on the illegal party circuit playing up and down the country for various different promotions.

In 2005 alongside 3 other local DJs he set up the Jack-It brand, starting off in humble surroundings at The Hope (formally Polar Central) and then moving on to a monthly night at B'Lo on West Street in Brighton. Pretty soon Jack-It had become notorious on the Brighton scene and bookings for the Honeyclub, Zap, Ocean Rooms and other well known venues started rolling in. They now have packed out monthly nights at Heist Bar (opposite their old home) and the Black Lion.

As well as his success with Jack-It Trigger has also secured his own residencies for Playroom and the legendary DPM summer parties, both hugely popular promotions who know how to throw the maddest parties!! Recently Trigger has been involved on a regular
basis with the Mass Recordings brand playing all over the south coast. Add to that one off sets for every major club in Brighton, and
sets at Turnmills,Ministry Of Sound and Hidden (amongst others) inLondon, and you can see why his fan base is spreading across the country.

Check out www.jack-it.co.uk for upcoming sets/events.
